According to the experience and opinion
of Jefferson Milano, currently in Venezuela
there is a need for more push towards BMX.
However, he has seen that there are many
good children who have been emerging in
recent years.
“The idea is to give them self-esteem, a
grain of references to those children who
come after us. In Venezuela we do not have
a developed BMX track that meets 100%
with the characteristics of an international
track that we need, hence the delay we
have in BMX Racing,” he highlights.
Regarding his experience in Switzerland,
where he lived for a year, he comments
that he was able to have a different vision
of the sport, of the culture, because of
how things are there, the schedules, the
discipline, the diet, details that we should
undoubtedly apply here.
He confesses that, in the coming years,
he would like to develop a foundation to
educate children who have shown interest
and passion for BMX in Venezuela.
