Inaugurated in 1983, the Viru Viru International Airport,
located in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, is the main center of
intercontinental connections in Bolivia. Since its creation
it has played a key role in economic and tourism
development, and is one of the most modern in the
country.
Los Roques Sucre is the constitutional capital, while La Paz is the
